How to Choose Your First Wig

When you're first starting out, choosing your first wig can be a minefield. All those different caps, different density and styles.

Here's a quick guide that you can save to your device or come back to check.

The first steps of choosing your first wig are quite simple. Try not to overthink it. Wig buying should be a pleasure, not another worry. Choose something close to what you're used, or what you used to be used to. The reason for this is that if you jump straight to a lot of hair from not having very much hair, it will be a lot harder to bond with the wig because it will look so alien to you in the mirror. You won't recognise yourself and you'll immediately decide that wig wearing is not for you.

It's so easy to be taken in by the beautiful long flowing locks, but take it slowly, start short and build up. You'll soon be wearing all sorts of styles, but wig wearing is a marathon and not a sprint.
