Making a wig less 'wiggy'
Save the photo to the right to use it as a reference the next time you need to style a wig that looks too 'wiggy'. We've all been there, you pull it on, tuck it and it looks like a squirrel sat on your head. So how do you make a wig look more natural? The answer is with a little misting of water and some gentle heat, along with a little patience.
If your wig is a face flopper, i.e it keeps falling into your face, or it stands to high up on the top of your head, mist some water onto the top of the wig and use your hand or a clip or two to secure the
fibres into the position you want them to be. Then, using a hairdryer on a low heat, gently warm the fibres by heating them for a few seconds, then moving the heat away, then heating again, and moving away so they don't get too hot. Then after you have applied heat for about 20-30 seconds, keep the fibres in that position until they have completely cooled. You can speed up this process if you have a cool shot option on your hairdryer.
Once cooled, remove your hand or clips from the fibres and they should now be more in the style you were hoping for. If not, repeat the process again until they start to behave in the way you would like.
