Hi, I'm Sonia. I'm in my late 40s and have been wearing wigs since December 2025. Within two months of buying my first wig, I shaved off what remained of my terrible permenopausal hair and have never looked back! I would have done it years ago if I had realised how affordable and natural looking synthetic wigs have become. I live in North East England with my wife and our five dogs, and in my spare time I enjoy travel and walks in the warm weather, or curling up with a good book or old sitcom when it's colder.
This design came about when during a conversation with Nic, Sonia said whenever someone comments on my hair, I say 'Like my hair? I bought it myself." This is a great way to break the ice and start up a conversation about wearing wigs.
